Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Web Audit Suite ("the Service"), operated by Chintoka Systems ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Service

Web Audit Suite is a website analysis tool that provides performance audits, security assessments, SEO analysis, and technology detection. The Service fetches and examines websites in real-time using various data sources and technologies.

3. User Accounts

Certain features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update any changes.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use paid features of the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to analyze websites without authorization from the website owner, where such authorization is required by law
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided API, except as explicitly permitted

5. Subscription and Payment

The Service offers paid subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, and Agency), billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as described below.

Cancellation: If you cancel your subscription, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

Free Trial: Starter and Pro tiers include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice when feasible.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Chintoka Systems and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

You retain ownership of any data you input. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

8. Data Sources & Technologies

The Service uses the following data sources and technologies:

• •PageSpeed Insights: Google PageSpeed Insights API for Lighthouse performance audits and Core Web Vitals
• •Page Analysis: Direct HTTP/HTTPS fetching and HTML parsing
• •DNS Lookups: Real-time DNS queries for domain information
• •SSL Validation: Certificate verification and security analysis
• •Security Headers: HTTP response header analysis for security best practices
• •Technology Detection: Pattern matching for CMS, frameworks, analytics, CDN, and libraries

9. AI Search Readiness Analysis (GEO/AEO)

The Service includes Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) analysis features. These features evaluate your website's readiness for AI-powered search engines and answer services.

Emerging Field

GEO and AEO represent emerging areas of search optimization. Unlike traditional SEO, where best practices have been refined over decades, AI search optimization is a rapidly evolving field without widely established industry standards. The methodologies used by AI-powered search engines and answer services are proprietary, largely undocumented, and subject to frequent change.

Heuristic-Based Analysis

Our GEO and AEO scores and recommendations are based on current heuristics derived from publicly available research, observed patterns in AI citation behavior, and structured data best practices. These heuristics represent our best current assessment and will be updated as the field matures and more reliable signals emerge. Scoring criteria may change without notice to reflect evolving understanding.

Results Are Guidance, Not Guarantees

A high GEO or AEO score does not guarantee that your content will be cited, summarized, or featured by any AI-powered search engine or answer service. AI systems select and synthesize content based on numerous factors outside our analysis scope, including training data, user context, and proprietary ranking algorithms.

Our recommendations are designed to improve your content's machine readability and structured data quality—factors we believe are directionally helpful based on current patterns. However, AI search visibility depends on third-party systems we do not control. Results from this analysis should be considered one input among many in your overall content strategy, alongside traditional SEO, user experience, and your own domain expertise.

Limitation of Liability for AI Readiness Features

Given the inherent uncertainty of this emerging field, we make no warranty that following our GEO or AEO recommendations will result in improved visibility in AI-generated search results or answers. The general limitation of liability in Section 11 applies to all AI Search Readiness features.

10. API Access

API access is available on select subscription tiers. By using the API, you agree to the following additional terms:

• API keys are issued per account and must not be shared or transferred without authorization
• Rate limits are enforced per subscription tier. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary request throttling
• We reserve the right to revoke API keys immediately for abuse, violation of these terms, or conduct that negatively impacts Service performance
• API availability is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific uptime or response times for API endpoints

11. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Analysis results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional security, legal, accessibility, or compliance advice. Results may vary from other tools due to different methodologies. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional assessment. We are not responsible for decisions made based on Service output.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chintoka Systems from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice for violations of these terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. See our Privacy Policy for information on data retention and deletion.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada. You agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any disputes before pursuing legal action.
